What is Botox?
It is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium.
How Does Botox Work?
Botox temporarily relaxes or paralyzes muscles. Repeated use of muscles of expression causes people to get wrinkles in that area. By preventing that muscle from moving, the wrinkles can be prevented, eliminated, or softened.
Is Botox Safe?
Botox has been safely used in medical treatments for the past 20 years and received FDA approval in April 2002 to be used cosmetically in the face. There are no reported cases of disease transmission from Botox and risks of complications are rare and cause only temporary problems.
All of these proceedures are performed by a board-certified physician and adhere to USA physician guidelines for health and safety.
Is It Expensive?
We charge $12 per unit used, so each patient pays for the dose they receive. The appropriate number of
units for you will be determined at your NO CHARGE consultation.
Examples:
Horizontal Forehead Lines 16-25 units ($192-$300),
Frown Lines Between the Eyebrows 16-30 units for women ($192-$360) and 25-40 units for men ($300-$480)

New appointments are about 30 minutes. Established patients take 15 minutes.
Is It Permanent?
No. Botox gradually wears off and the muscles begin to function again. The first treatment last between 2 months and 4 months. If you continue with your Botox on a routine basis, the injected muscles
eventually weaken and reasearch shows the time between treatments
